Meat Lasagna with Mucho Gusto Queso Duro Blando

Preparing a lasagna with soft hard cheese is an excellent idea to vary the classic Italian dish. Here's a basic recipe for making a delicious lasagna with soft hard cheese

Ingredients:

1 package of lasagna sheets (preferably pre-cooked)
500g of ground beef (you can use beef or pork-beef mix)
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 can of crushed tomato (400 g)
1 carrot, grated
1 red bell pepper, chopped
200 g of Mucho Gusto Queso Duro Blando
200 g of grated mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Oregano and fresh basil (optional, for flavoring)

Preparation instructions

  1. Prepare the meat sauce:
    • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until golden brown and fragrant.
    • Add the ground beef and cook until well browned and cooked through.
    • Add the grated carrot, chopped pepper and cook for a few more minutes.
    • Add the crushed tomato, season with salt, pepper and herbs to taste (oregano, basil). Cook over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes, until the sauce thickens. Reservation.
  2. Prepare the Mucho Gusto Queso Duro Blando:
    • In a bowl, crumble or cut into small pieces your chosen soft hard cheese, such as feta or ricotta.
  3. Assemble the lasagna:
    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
    • In a baking dish, place a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom.
    • Top with a layer of pre-cooked lasagna sheets (if they are pre-cooked, they do not need to be cooked before).
    • Add a layer of shredded soft hard cheese and then a layer of grated mozzarella cheese.
    • Repeat the process, alternating layers of meat sauce, lasagna sheets, Mucho Gusto Queso Duro Blando and mozzarella, until the ingredients are finished. Finish with a layer of meat sauce.
  4. Ending:
    • Sprinkle the top with shredded soft hard cheese.
    • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes.
    • Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
  5. Serve:
    • Let the lasagna sit for a few minutes before portioning and serving hot.
