4 ripe green plantains
Salt to taste
6 tablespoons of olive oil
1 large onion
Mucho Gusto Queso Seco Frijolero
2 16 oz cans of beans
1 large tomato
Pepper and garlic to taste

Preparation instructions

  1. Peel and cut the bananas into thin slices. Season with salt lightly on both sides. Pour a little oil into a pan and heat it.
  2. Carefully arrange each banana slice in the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides. Drain on a wire rack or absorbent paper.
  3. In a large frying pan, fry the onion in oil and then add the beans, tomato, pepper and garlic. Cook over low heat until heated through. Serve with the bananas.
