Chicken soup with vegetables and Mucho Gusto Queso Duro Blando con Loroco is a traditional dish from El Salvador that combines the softness of lorocos, edible flowers of the region, with a base of chicken or beef broth. It is prepared by sautéing onion, garlic and loroco, then the broth is added and left to cook until the flavors are mixed.

Ingredients:

1 liter of chicken broth
2 potatoes, peeled and diced
2 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 cup of the Mucho Gusto Queso Duro Blando con Loroco
1 cup of Mucho Gusto Crema Salvadoreña
Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation instructions

  1. Cook the potatoes and carrots in the chicken broth until tender.
  2. Stir in the Mucho Gusto Queso Duro Blando con Loroco and the Mucho Gusto Crema Salvadoreña, and simmer until the cheese is melted.
